What do 2-link and 4-link spacing mean?

The wider spacing also means the tire travels farther between cross-chain contacts. On a hard, compacted surface, the operator may notice that transition more than with a 2-link pattern. Start with the complete tire size
Read the size molded into the tire sidewall currently on the machine. Skid steer sizes can use formats such as 10x16.5, 12x16.5, or a three-number format. Enter every number in order; do not shop by the last number alone.
Then confirm the size on the exact product page. Nominal size is the beginning of fitment, not the end. Tread design, tread depth, tire brand, inflation, and wear can change the installed dimensions. A new deep-lug tire may fill the available space differently than a worn tire carrying the same marked size.

Decide whether to chain two tires or four
